New – 280BHP 2.0 NA – Renault / Proton S2000 F4p

Brand new (spare engine never fitted) works S2000 engine, built as a spare by Mellors Elliot Motorsport (MEM) for the Proton Satria Neo S2000 works cars.

The basis for these race engines was a 1.8 Renault F4P unit (as these were fitted to
Proton road cars) bored out to 2.0. Making 280 bhp with a single throttle body, potential for more power with ITB’s

Rare opportunity to buy this race engine for sale at a fraction of the original cost, which could be used for a multitude of disciplines in race or rally.

Bare engine only, photo of engine bay is a sample photo of the same type of F4P 2.0 engine fitted to a Proton Satria Neo S2000 ex works rally car.

The engine has been dry stored and wrapped in sheets of cling film. It does have small piece missing off valve cover that is over the cambelt which is outside of the wet engine, (thus wouldn’t cause any issues) but I would probably change it.
